Secrets St. Lucia Celebrates Team Member Bernella Velinor on Being Crowned Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2026

Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa is proud to celebrate one of its very own, Bernella Velinor, Concierge Supervisor, following her crowning as Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2026 during the prestigious national pageant hosted at the resort.

Originally from Dennery, Bernella has long demonstrated passion, determination, and commitment to excellence. As Concierge Supervisor at Secrets St. Lucia, she is recognized for her outstanding leadership, dedication to exceptional guest experiences, and warm Saint Lucian hospitality. She is also no stranger to the pageant stage, having previously competed in the 2016 National Carnival Queen Pageant before capturing the title of Miss Easterval 2017. Her return to competition has been marked by purpose, resilience, and a desire to proudly represent Saint Lucia on the international stage.

Secrets St. Lucia was honored to partner with the Miss Universe Saint Lucia Organization as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives that empower, uplift, and inspire local talent. When approached by Jocie Mederick, Head of the Miss Universe Saint Lucia Committee, the collaboration was a natural fit, reflecting a shared vision of celebrating confidence, leadership, and community development.

The pageant welcomed guests from across the island for an unforgettable evening of elegance, talent, and empowerment. Hosted at Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa, the event showcased the intelligence, passion, and poise of Saint Lucian women while providing an exceptional platform for their voices to be heard.

The evening reached an unforgettable climax when Secrets St. Lucia’s own Concierge Supervisor, Bernella Velinor, was crowned Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2026, making the occasion even more meaningful for the entire resort family.

Bernella will now begin preparations to represent Saint Lucia at the Diamond Jubilee/75th Miss Universe competition scheduled for November 2026 in Puerto Rico, where she will join delegates from around the world as an ambassador for the island’s culture, beauty, and strength.
