Cap Maison appoints Carl Beviere as General Manager

One of Saint Lucia’s best-known luxury resorts has a new general manager, with a veteran Caribbean hotelier returning to the island to take the helm.

Cap Maison has named Carl Beviere its new general manager, succeeding longtime GM Ross Stevenson at the 50-room resort on the northern tip of Saint Lucia.

Beviere brings more than three decades of luxury hospitality experience in the Caribbean to the role. Most recently, he served as general manager of Royalton Vessence Barbados, where he led the opening of the 220-suite, adults-only resort on Barbados’ Platinum Coast. The opening marked both Royalton Hotels & Resorts’ debut in Barbados and the global launch of its Vessence brand.

Before Royalton, Beviere spent much of his career with Sandals Resorts, where his positions included regional managing director.

The appointment is also something of a homecoming. Beviere is British and Saint Lucian, and he has a longstanding relationship with the Gobat family, the family behind Cap Maison, having worked with them early in his career.
