The Saint Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB) Announces 2014 Piton Award Recipients

In acknowledgement of a record-breaking year of 11% growth in visitor arrivals, the Saint Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB) announces its top selling travel agents and Piton Award winners for 2014.

In honor and recognition of the accomplishments of these select agents, and as a sign of its appreciation of their efforts, the Tourist Board will host its first annual Piton Awards Island Fete, from Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, June 14, 2015. This four-day affair includes adventure and culinary island tours and a special awards ceremony.

The awards recognize top booking travel agents and agencies as part of the Preferred Agent Saint Lucia Specialist (PASS) education and training program.

“The Piton Award recipients represent an elite category of travel partners and we welcome the chance to celebrate with them,” said Tracey Warner Arnold, deputy director of tourism for the Saint Lucia Tourist Board. “The Tourist Board is so appreciative of their support – and of all our travel agent partners – to Saint Lucia’s tourism industry.”
