Saint Lucia Jazz Finale
The southern town of Vieux Fort on Sunday May 17th, will bring the curtains down on a highly successful jazz festival season, when the last of the officially endorsed activities by the Saint Lucia Tourist Board for the 2015 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival – The JAZZ FINALE – is stage.
The JAZZ FINALE, put on by the southern based group Mouvman Ansanm begins from 3: 00 pm with a spectacular line up of musicians, entertainers and artisans. Held at the Pointe Sable Recreation Park in Vieux Fort, the family oriented event will also feature the best of local cuisine, exhibited with a touch of southern hospitality.
In the impressive lineup this year is The Monty Maxwell and Ronald “Boo” Hinkson Project, The Survival Reunion, Neil “Toots” Franklyn, Tropix Band, David Elwin, former calypso Monarch Nintus, Jessy Leonce, The Genuine Addition Dance Troop, Jeffa’s Dancers, N’Vogue Models, Assumption Knights Youth In Action Steel Pan, Assumption Nightingales and others.
Into its third year, the Jazz Finale, is a production of Mouvman Ansanm of Vieux Fort.
Gold sponsors for this event are the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, Digicel and the Ministry of Tourism, Heritage and Cultural Industries, which has been unweaving in its support from the inception of the event.
