A vibrant celebration of health and Saint Lucia culinary excellence

The Healthy Food Fair held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Derek Walcott Square highlighted the creativity and skill of the Saint Lucia National Culinary Team as they promoted nutritious, flavourful dishes in honour of National Sneaker Day 2025.

This event formed part of the National Insurance Corporation‘s ongoing efforts to promote healthy living and active lifestyles.
The SLHTA wishes to thank the many persons and agencies who turned out to support.
The event would not have been possible without our culinary stars Senior Chef Neville Joseph, Pastry Chef Emmany Hippolyte, Bartender Ninus Charlouis, Team Manager Chef Fabian Vigee, SLHTA Director Wadi Zakhour, consultant chef Eike Lauff, Alva Preville and coordinator Juliet Sutherland who led the charge with excellence.
We also wish to extend sincere thanks to Chef Elijah Jules of Anse Chastanet/Jade Mountain, Culinary Team trainees from Ladera Resort, Senior Chef Deyon Prospere, Pastry Chef Khapelgee Alcee, and Bel Jou Hotel’s Junior Chef Emma Moffat for their valuable support to the team. Special appreciation also goes to the Harbor Club for their incredible support in allowing the team to utilize their kitchen for preparations.
