American Airlines Boosts Capacity and Connectivity to Saint Lucia in Summer 2024

(Saint Lucia Tourism Authority) – American Airlines reaffirms its commitment to Saint Lucia with increased capacity to Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) during the summer of 2024 with additional seat capacity and up to two daily flights between Miami International Airport (MIA) and UVF, maintaining consistency from the winter season.

American Airlines plans to introduce a second daily flight from MIA to UVF, operating from June 5 to September 3, 2024. This additional frequency not only signifies the airline’s continued partnership but also offers greater convenient schedule options for trips to and from Saint Lucia / UVF. In addition, the aircraft utilized on the MIA-UVF route will upgauge from a B-737 (172 seats) to an A-321 (190 seats).
In addition, the Philadelphia (PHL) to UVF route will undergo an upgrade from an A-319 (128 seats) to an A-321 (190 seats), effective mid-February to mid-March.

The expanded capacity and additional daily leg complement existing service on from Charlotte (CLT) and Philadelphia (PHL) to UVF. American Airlines plays a pivotal role in connecting passengers to the unparalleled beauty and warmth of Saint Lucia.

All flights from American Airlines will offer premium cabins.
Departures from MIA to UVF are scheduled at 8:35 a.m. and 10:05 a.m., while the corresponding arrival times at UVF are 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
For the return leg, flights from UVF to MIA are set for departure at 2:11 p.m. and 3:42 p.m., with arrival times at MIA at 5:55 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. respectively.
