In 2015, the Government of Saint Lucia and a number of civil society actors founded the Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund (SLUNCF). The Saint Lucia Hospitality & Tourism Association (SLHTA) is the current Chair of the Fund which is dedicated to the conservation, restoration and effective management of Saint Lucia’s biodiversity and natural resources.

On 15th October 2019, the SLUNCF was invited by the Caribbean Development Bank to attend the CDB’s Blue Economy Conference 2019.
