SLHTA hosts inspiring International Women's Day Brunch

On Sunday, 8th March 2026, the SLHTA hosted its International Women’s Day Brunch at the Harbor Club, bringing together women from across Saint Lucia’s hospitality and tourism industry for an afternoon of celebration, inspiration, and meaningful conversation.

The event featured a keynote address by Vanessa Ledesma, CEO of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, who set a powerful tone for the afternoon. She was joined by an exceptional panel of guest speakers: Margaret Monplaisir, CEO of the St. Lucia Distillers Group of Companies; Lorraine Sidoine, CEO of the Events Company of Saint Lucia; and Yhasmine Remy-Hylton, General Manager of BodyHoliday. Together, these accomplished leaders opened up about their personal journeys — the challenges they navigated, the moments that defined them and the resilience that carried them forward. They offered candid, practical guidance to attendees on navigating their careers.

Guests were treated to an extraordinary performance by Michael Fletcher, a culinary showcase from the Harbor Club’s talented women chefs, and an exciting raffle featuring prizes generously provided by member companies.
