The 51st Annual General Meeting of the Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association (SLHTA) is set to convene on Friday May 29th, 2015 at the Williams Jefferson Clinton Ballroom at Sandals Grande Saint Lucian Spa and Beach Resort.  The meeting will commence at 9: 00 am under the theme Tourism:  “Engage; Educate; Empower”.

The SLHTA Board Representatives are currently deliberating on certain amendments to the By-Laws.  Subsequent to the deliberations, these amendments will be circulated to the Membership beforehand and will be presented at the AGM.

Members are reminded that, in order to attend and participate, your company’s SLHTA membership dues must be paid by the 15th, May 2015.  Only members whose SLHTA’s membership dues are current will be eligible to attend the Annual General Meeting. Companies wishing to take advantage of the payment plan facility being offered by the SLHTA may do so by calling Ms. Yola St. Jour, Finance and Administration Officer, at 453-1811 or 452 5978 to establish the terms of the payment plan, before the 15th, May 2015.  For budgetary and planning purposes, Members are invited to confirm their attendance by submitting to the SLHTA the name of their representative on the attached registration form by 11th, May 2015.  Please note that registration is limited to ONE person per member institution, plus an owner, if that person is not the CEO/SLHTA named representative.

Members are reminded that: “Copies of all Resolutions that members intend to propose must be sent to the Association no less than seven (7) business days before the date of the meeting at which the same are to be proposed and considered.”
