HFTP Expands Caribbean Presence with New St. Lucia Chapter

HFTP is pleased to announce the formation of its newest local chapter in St. Lucia, further strengthening the association’s global network of hospitality finance and technology professionals.

This milestone marks an important step in HFTP’s continued international growth, as the St. Lucia Chapter joins the Jamaica Chapter with an HFTP presence in the Caribbean. The expansion reflects HFTP’s commitment to supporting professionals in emerging and established hospitality markets worldwide through education, collaboration, and connection.

HFTP chapters play a vital role in delivering value at the local level by offering educational programming, networking opportunities, and access to industry resources that support career development and professional excellence. The St. Lucia Chapter will serve as a platform for professionals across the island to engage with peers, share insights, and contribute to the advancement of the hospitality industry in the region.

“My journey with HFTP, from attending HITEC events, to earning their CHTP designation, and now serving on the HITEC Advisory Council, has been truly transformative,” said Christus Gill, president of the St. Lucia Chapter. “We look forward to extending the benefits of HFTP to hospitality finance and technology professionals across St. Lucia. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to CHTA, SLHTA and HFTP, including our colleagues in the Jamaica Chapter, for their invaluable support.”

The successful establishment of the St. Lucia Chapter was made possible through the collaborative efforts of regional partners and industry leaders. HFTP extends its sincere gratitude to the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA), and the HFTP Jamaica Chapter for their guidance and support throughout the chartering process.

With a growing global footprint that includes chapters across North America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, HFTP continues to expand opportunities for its members to connect, learn, and lead within the hospitality industry. The addition of the St. Lucia Chapter reinforces this mission and highlights the association’s dedication to fostering strong professional communities around the world.
