CTO Recognizes Karolin Troubetzkoy for Exceptional Service to Caribbean Tourism
Karolin Troubetzkoy, Executive Director of Marketing and Operations at Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain Resort, and Vice President of the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA), was honoured on June 2nd 2025 with the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Secretary General’s Distinguished Service Award during Caribbean Week in New York.
“To receive this distinction is truly meaningful to me,” said Troubetzkoy. “My heartfelt thanks to Dona Regis-Prosper, Secretary General and CEO of CTO, the entire CTO team, and the Directors and Ministers of Tourism across the Caribbean for this recognition, and for their tireless leadership and commitment to our region.”

She continued, “Surrounded by so many inspiring and exceptional women leaders made this moment even more powerful — a true reflection of how women’s leadership continues to grow and shape the future of Caribbean tourism. The collective passion, strength, and vision in that room were a clear reminder of the incredible contributions women are making across our industry.”
Reflecting on her journey, Troubetzkoy added, “For over 40 years, I have been privileged to call the Caribbean home — a privilege I never take for granted. After Nick’s passing, I took stock and recognized that contributing through my volunteer leadership roles— in tourism and increasingly in conservation and the protection of our precious Caribbean biodiversity with the @sluncf and @caribbiofund — will always be an important part of who I am. I remain proud and grateful to serve and contribute to the Caribbean’s development, prosperity, and environmental stewardship — as a proud Caribbean citizen, and hopefully able to inspire others along the way.”
The SLHTA congratulates Karolin on this well-deserved recognition.
