Bay Gardens Resorts Announces Exciting Leadership Transitions to Open 2024

Bay Gardens Resorts rings in 2024 with significant leadership transitions. The resort chain announces the retirement of its esteemed General Manager of the Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa, Miss Waltrude Patrick a towering figure in the Bay Gardens brand since 2002. With over 45 years in the hospitality industry, Patrick’s journey is nothing short of legendary, having played a pivotal role in managing multiple Bay Gardens properties and leading the brand through challenging times, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Her contributions have led Bay Gardens Beach Resort to record-breaking years in 2022 and 2023.

Succeeding Miss Patrick is Miss Daryl Aaron a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of industry experience. Aaron, who was the General Manager at Bay Gardens Marina Haven from the time it was acquired by the Bay Gardens brand in 2018, has been instrumental in transforming the performance of the 35-room hotel, achieving an impressive average occupancy of 85%. Her leadership promises to continue the legacy of excellence at Bay Gardens Beach Resort.

The transition at Marina Haven is equally notable, with Ms. Yatsuri Marshall – CHDM the current Group Sales & Marketing Manager, stepping up as General Manager. Under her stewardship, the resort chain received the awards for Marketing Excellence from the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce and the CHIEF Award for Innovative Sales & Marketing Strategy from the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association. Having been with Bay Gardens for nearly a decade, Marshall’s extensive experience and innovative approach to sales and marketing make her an ideal fit for this new leadership role.

With Ms. Marshall leaving the marketing department, Pauline G. Francis the current Marketing Supervisor, will take over as the Group Marketing Manager. Known for her innovative approach to social media engagement, in 2022 Ms Francis also spearheaded the Taste the Bay Food Festival – the resort chain’s popular community engagement initiative. There is no doubt that Francis’ rapid rise and dedication to her craft will allow her to excel in this new leadership role.
