Fond D’or Jazz 2015

The Fond d’Or Foundation is once again pleased to announce for the fifteenth year running Fond d’Or Jazz 2015. This year the celebration of real Saint Lucian folk sounds, blending with smooth jazz and Caribbean music will be held on Saturday 2nd May, 2015 from 3:00 p.m.

The keys, the harmony, the voices, and the flow; the trees, the cool Atlantic breeze; the people, the culinary delights; exquisite social ambience; all the right ingredients to take you on a journey to Fond d’Or Jazz! A bit isolated from the popular main stage jazz venues in the north as it is located in the rustic plantation setting on the east coast of Saint Lucia, Fond d’Or has made a name for itself over the last 14 years as the kick-off event of ‘bringing the best of jazz to the people’ during the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival.

This year the festival will play host to Saint Lucia’s very own: Avot Sevis, Evalucian Band and Miste en Local.

Building on 2013 scintillating festival with Kassav, which saw many attendees, this year’s 2015 festival will highlight CARIMI from Haiti based in the US and the internationally renowned group ZOUK MACHINE from Guadeloupe.

Tickets cost EC $80 at all of the usual outlets and will be EC$100/US$40 at the door. All prices are inclusive of VAT. As has been the norm, children under the age of 12, accompanied by an adult will enter the park absolutely free.

Fond d’Or Nature Heritage Park is family friendly and there will be a designated area with a wide range of entertainment activities for children.
