June 16, 2014: SLHTA Golden Jubilee Dinner
SLHTA Golden Jubilee Dinner with owners of establishments within the Tourism Industry as well as Government Heads of Saint Lucia and key policy development professionals, will take place on the night of June 16th, 2014 from 7: 00 p.m. at the William Jefferson Clinton Ballroom at the Sandals Grande Saint Lucian Beach & Spa Resort.
This dinner serves to form part of the SLHTA’s 50th Anniversary celebrations under thetheme “Together for a better Saint Lucia”. The theme represents a call from the Tourism Industry for strengthened linkages and intensive cross-sectoral dialogue on how tourism can increase socio-economic gains for our island. The dinner is designed to function as a private and confidential forum to facilitate open discussion on the way forward for the industry.

June 7, 2014: Saint Lucia Culinary Team Fund Raising Dinner
The Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association (SLHTA) will be hosting its third Saint Lucia Culinary Team Fund Raising Dinner at Cap Maison, on Saturday June 07, 2014 at 6:30pm.
The St. Lucia Hotel & Tourism Association (SLHTA) and our nine talented members of the Saint Lucia Culinary Team have begun preparing for this year’s edition of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA) Taste of the Caribbean Culinary Competition, to take place in Miami from June the 28th – July 02nd, 2014.
Our participation in the 2014 Taste of the Caribbean Culinary Competition requires a focused preparatory process as well as adequate financial resources to enable the team to give its best effort. Our main focus is a series of preparatory dinners, practice sessions and public culinary demonstrations that would allow the team to receive critical feedback and inputs from invited patrons, while progressively honing their competitive skills. Although the team still has a tedious task ahead in order of becoming the gold champions, they are committed to succeeding and determined to improve.
Tickets are available for EC $100 per person. Dinner includes VAT, a three course menu and will be served with specialty cocktail drinks and unlimited wine.
