(Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association )- St. George, Grenada— (July 22, 2024)— On Friday, July 19th, the Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA) received a substantial donation from its sister organization, the St. Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA), in response to the recent impact of Hurricane Beryl on the region. The solidarity and support demonstrated by SLHTA have been instrumental in providing much-needed relief to affected areas in Grenada.

Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl, GHTA CEO Arlene Friday received a compassionate phone call from her counterpart at SLHTA, offering assistance and asking what was needed. Without hesitation, SLHTA mobilized a hurricane supply drive from July 4th-July 12th with member companies and private citizens to support relief efforts in Grenada.
