Company Description: Caribbean Dispatch Services, a ground handling Company located at Hewanorra Airport celebrated fifteen years of operation in St.Lucia. The company commenced operations in St.Lucia on February 1 st 1994 after having won the tender from SLASPA (St Lucia Air and Seaports Authority) for ground handling services at both airports. CDSL as it is commonly known is a subsidiary of American Airlines and Americas Ground Services (AGS) which operates in the Caribbean and Latin America. It is presently one of the largest employers in the south of the island, providing employment for over 200 employees (including temporary employees), all of whom with the exception of one are of St Lucian nationality, mainly from the Micoud and Vieux Fort areas.
