The rich St. Lucian colonial architectural heritage is reflected in the high cathedral ceilings, intricate gingerbread fretwork, jalousie shutters, medallions, finials and original handcrafted wooden furniture and oil paintings adorning the units. They command panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, the lush green mountains of the northern coastline and a small offshore island.
Featured on property are ten deluxe villa suites (6 deluxe one-bedroom villa suites and 4 deluxe two-bedroom / two bathroom villa suites). These villa suites features state-of-the-art in room amenities including LCD flat screen TVs, DVD and CD players, Hi-speed internet access, Wi-Fi, A/C, ceiling fans, digital safes, hairdryers, iron & ironing boards. Luxurious and fully self-contained, the one or two bedrooms units have intricately, carved king size four poster beds, living and dining rooms with indigenous designer furniture, fully equipped kitchens with marble countertops (including large appliances such as stoves, fridges, microwaves, toasters, blenders, & coffee makers) and large balconies with teak furniture and steamers overlooking the Caribbean Sea. - The Derek Walcott Suite is a special deluxe one-bedroom villa suite named in honour of Derek Walcott, the 1992 Noble Laureate for Literature, who spent his holidays on property over the years. It features a unique hand craved wooden four-poster king size bed, his watercolour paintings and a collection of his books.
- The Adelaide Rice Suite and the Edith Johnson Suite are also deluxe one bedroom villa suites named in honour of repeat guest of the Villa Beach Cottages (both visiting over 25 times).
- The Honeymoon Villa, a showpiece two storey unit, has living/dining room and kitchen on the ground floor, and the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. It features hardwood flooring, walls with Victorian wainscot panelling, and a romantic wooden spiral staircase leading to the bedroom with a king size canopy four poster bed, with French doors opening into the balcony and Caribbean Sea.
Facilities: On site facilities include Coconuts, a small restaurant, (for Creole and International meals on request prepared by an in-house chef), Koko’s mini-mart/shop, water sports (ocean kayaks), swimming pool with a rock waterfall & decking, wedding gazebos and portable outdoor barbecues. A second larger swimming pool was added and features a natural stone waterfall, an outdoor heated jacuzzi / rock pool and is surrounded by a large decking made of cut white stone and tropical hard wood with a second gazebo attached to cater for larger weddings. The Guest Services Cottages houses the internet café, guest laundry, and a free book and DVD library.
